Education and Training
With an area of 2000 square meters, the Simulation Center of HUIR is designed as a true multidisciplinary training entity using health simulation as a pedagogical technique for the training of students and healthcare professionals.
Learning in the simulation center.
The center will welcome medical students from the first cycle for whom workshops on learning attitudes and gestures are the first contact with the medical world. It will also welcome state-certified nursing students, auxiliary nurses, childcare students, midwives, and doctors. Programs and schedules will be established by supervisors according to identified needs and according to the training cycle (initial or continuous). Simulation-based modules will be mandatory validated by the learners. Supervision will be provided by healthcare professionals, all trained in the specifics of simulation-based teaching and according to the modules. A Diploma of University Education (DIU) for trainers in health simulation will be implemented.
